How to download a video

The process is the same across every platform Downvido supports. Here's the general flow, plus links to platform-specific instructions if you'd like more detail.

1. Step 1

   Find the video and copy its link

   Open the video on its original platform and use the Share (or Copy Link) option. Make sure the video itself is public — Downvido can't access private or restricted content.

2. Step 2

   Paste the link into Downvido

   Go to the homepage or the relevant platform page, and paste the link into the input field. You can also use the Paste button if you've already copied it.

3. Step 3

   Wait while Downvido reads the video

   This usually takes a few seconds. Downvido reads the video's public metadata and lists the formats and qualities actually available for it.

4. Step 4

   Choose a format and quality

   Pick the MP4 quality that fits your needs, or an MP3 option where audio-only downloads are supported.

5. Step 5

   Download and save the file

   Tap Download next to your chosen option. Your browser will save the file the same way it saves any other download.
